- Bob Marley Museum
Bob Marley (a Jamaican native) was responsible for making reggae music popular. He was diagnosed with cancer and died in 1981. The museum is dedicated to him and his life.
- Devon House
This house is a preserved mansion in Jamaica. It was built in 1981 by George Stiebel. He was one of the first black millionaires in the Caribbean. On the grounds there are craft shops, restaurant, a bakery and a pastry shop. It is also famous for its delicious ice cream.
-Hope Botanical Gardens
The 50 acre land is home to many pleasant paths and manicured gardens. It includes a cactus garden, orchid house, a forest garden, and an ornamental pond.
-Port Royal
Its located on the tip of the peninsula surrounding Kingston harbor. In the 17th century it was the headquarters for pirates that preyed on Spanish ships sailing through the Caribbean. In 1692 an earthquake and tidal wave destroyed nearly the entire city.
